How it works

The gateway creates the payment from the server-side WooCommerce order and redirects the buyer to SpicePay. The buyer returns to WooCommerce's order-received page.

Implementation

The signed webhook determines the paid state; the return page can retrieve the payment to display a recent result. Compare the captured total with the order total. A mismatch should leave the order on hold for review instead of marking it paid. Preserve the SpicePay payment ID and order metadata for reconciliation. WooCommerce's normal cart and order lifecycle remain in place.
