How it works

A routing configuration defines the initial connector candidates. Priority, weighted volume and advanced conditions suit different traffic policies.

Implementation

Create a named configuration for the shop and choose the type. Priority uses the first eligible connector; volume split distributes traffic by percentage; advanced rules use conditions such as method, country, currency, amount and metadata. Activate the intended configuration explicitly, then inspect sample routing decisions. Rules still cannot bypass connector support, disabled status or exhausted limits.
